Hello from Buildability Group! We're partnered with prominent construction firms specializing in commercial newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment projects. They're currently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator and to join their team and manage contracts and finances across both sectors.
  
Position Overview:
  
Our client is eager to bring on board a skilled Senior Contract Administrator to play a crucial role in overseeing contractual and financial aspects of their projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in both newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment sectors to make a significant impact.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  

• Administer contracts for commercial newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment projects.
• Manage project budgets, costs, variations, and progress payments.
• Ensure project compliance with contractual obligations and timelines.
• Coordinate procurement activities, including subcontractor contract awarding.
• Resolve contractual disputes and claims as needed.
• Provide mentorship and support to junior Contract Administrators.

  
Qualifications:
  

• Proven experience as a Contract Administrator in commercial construction, covering both newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment sectors.
• Strong understanding of contract law and construction contracts.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  
Requirements:
  

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Business, or related field.
• Familiarity with commercial construction processes in both newbuild and fit-out/refurbishment.
• Preferred certifications relevant to the construction industry.
• Minimum of 3 years LOCAL EXPERINECE.
