Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage projects to ensure they are completed within established timeframes and budgetary limits.
- Ensure all projects comply with Building Approval and Development Approval conditions.
- Create detailed budget schedules, continuously monitor expenditures, and provide comprehensive reports throughout the construction and maintenance phases.
- Exhibit a high level of leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and support project teams.
- Lead the procurement process, including negotiating commercial terms with various project stakeholders.
- Address and resolve any issues related to client contracts and head contracts.
- Oversee the commercial outcomes of design and construction phases.
- Identify, assess, allocate, and manage risks associated with projects.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator in the construction sector, with experience in large residential projects being advantageous.
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management and/or Quantity Surveying are highly desirable.
- Excellent computer skills are essential.
- Proven ability to work within defined quality assurance procedures.
- Clear and thorough understanding of Australian Standard building contracts and their administration.
- Demonstrated experience in Contracts Administration, including the preparation of subcontractor accounts, financial control, and project reporting.
