Senior Credit Control Officer | Brisbane | $90,000 + Super | Permanent
I am partnering with a leading business to recruit a dynamic and experienced Credit Control professional.
Working for a leading telecommunications business you will:
- Oversee the entire collection cycle from reminder letters to final demand letters.
- Make and receive on average 20 calls per day
- Collaborate with sales and support to resolve queries/issues, and investigate billing disputes/discrepancies
- Maintain customer account records, ensuring accurate payment details and records of communications
- Manage Suspension and Termination of Services
- Negotiate and arrange payment plans.
- Record and process incoming payments received from customers via various payment methods such Bpay, Credit Card, Direct Debit etc
- Propose write-offs on noncollectable accounts
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status with commentary on overdue accounts and doubtful debts
- Prepare overdue account files and liaise with Debt Collector
- Manage credit note issuance and customer refunds
- Manage business partner commissions and rebates
- Support and assist at peak times to submit invoices.
- Identify issues and proactively suggest process improvements
- Drive continuous improvement within the Credit Control and receivables function.
- Other duties as delegated from time to time by Manager
We are looking for an experienced credit professional to take on this role, with proven experience of overseeing debtors across multiple entities and systems. Intermediate Excel skills are preferred.This is a transactional environment so you will need to be happy with working in a fast-paced role. You will need first class communication and interpersonal skills, and be skilled at building relationships with external and internal stakeholders. You should have proven inbound and outbound collections experience. This role is fully remote.
