About the OPPORTUNITY

We have a Great opportunity for a Senior Cyber Security Resiliency Analyst to join our Hunter Class line of business. This position will be based at either Osborne SA, Melbourne VIC or Henderson WA.

We embrace flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working

Working in the Maritime Cyber Security team, you will be responsible for contributing to the assessment, testing, and improvement of the Cyber Security Resiliency of the Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) systems which support the Business Unit. 

You will be will be responsible for ensuring the organisation's strong Cyber Security posture is maintained through a number of proactive and reactive programs of work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Perform Cyber Security Resiliency testing against IT/OT systems to identify and test susceptibility to vulnerabilities
• Assess the risk of identified vulnerabilities to assist with prioritisation
• Produce process instructions & guidelines for conducting resiliency testing
• Work with Business Resiliency stakeholders to ensure the Cyber Security elements of Incident Management are documented and understood
• Plan and run cyber war-game/tabletop exercises with a focus on involving a broad set of stakeholders across the BU
• Develop automated tools and processes for testing new systems when commissioned and for retesting established systems through life
• Review threat intelligence data from a variety of sources and stay up to date with the latest industry trends for Red/Purple teams
• Contribute to threat modelling activities

About YOU

• Experience conducting penetration tests in an Enterprise IT context
• Exposure to Operational Technology is desirable
• Strong communication skills to ensure complex Cyber Security issues are communicated effectively to a broad stakeholder group
• Threat modelling experience using Mitre Att&ck, STRIDE or similar
• OCSP, CPTS, CREST certifications desirable or equivalent experience
• Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
• Eligibility to be cleared for International Traffic In Arms (ITAR) regulations
• Demonstrated experience working in incident response and management desirable
• Demonstrated analysis skills, critical thinking and problem solving
