Senior Data Analyst

Forming part of a high-performing team, the Senior Data Analyst is a newly created role, requiring someone to collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop predictive and prescriptive models. Reporting to the COO, you will also be responsible in developing, maintaining, and expanding the Data and Analytics platform to provide enriched information for reporting and analysis to help drive customer retention and growth.  

As a key member of the team, you will lead the development of data capabilities. Working closely with the CMO, CIO and wider business, you will be required to uncover actionable insights, and drive date-based recommendations.

Day-to-day responsibilities will also include:
 

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Develop and maintain data dashboards and reports for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the marketing, product, and technology teams to define data requirements for new marketing campaigns, features, and products.
• Build predictive models to identify opportunities for customer communication (email, push notifications) improvements and user engagement.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create regular reports to track progress.
• Communicate data-driven insights effectively to both technical and non-technical team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

For your application to be successful, you will have experience and an advanced knowledge of data warehouse technologies and data analysis tools such as Python and SQL. You will be an experienced Data Analyst with knowledge of machine learning techniques, and strong experience using visualisation tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
 
This role is business facing, and you will be required to being energy, enthusiasm, and a collaborative attitude to work every day. Ideally, you will have come from an industry with a strong focus on direct-to-customer subscription business markets and have excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
