Our client presently requires a Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Data Privacy to join their emerging team. The role necessitates the establishment of robust empathetic connections with both internal and external stakeholder groups, encompassing the client’s leadership associates, software suppliers, and system integrator partners. You'll play a vital part in a collaborative team, engaging in various projects and operational data teams, primarily focusing on Data Privacy and Data Management. This role offers extensive exposure, allowing the individual to deeply engage with and comprehend all facets of customer data throughout the organization.
Position: Senior Business Analyst – Data Privacy

Mandatory Data Privacy Experience:
- Essential expertise in Data Privacy, including areas such as Consent and individual rights, privacy impact assessment, and records management.
- Experience with implementing GDPR requirements would be advantageous.
- Formulating hypotheses or problem statements and collaborating with teams to decompose them into epics and smaller stories/tasks.
- Collaborating closely with team members on ongoing work, requirements clarification, and prioritization.
- Participating in steering committee walkthroughs to communicate key messages, risks, and progress against metrics.
- Conducting data analysis to aid in team decision-making and to validate or invalidate hypotheses.
- Facilitating various team meetings such as workshops, planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Conducting investigations to explore the utilization of new initiatives and their impacts on customers, often in collaboration with Product Managers.
- Coaching teams to refine their values, practices, and culture.
- Developing business cases.
- Leading continuous improvement initiatives within the teams.
- Collaborating with one or more dependent teams contributing to a shared objective.
- 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst / Data Analyst roles.
- Demonstrated adaptability.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to focus on the customer while balancing their needs with business requirements to deliver valuable outcomes.
- Inquisitive nature, adept at active listening and asking both open-ended and specific questions to uncover essential information.
- Proficiency in organizing and facilitating team workshops and meetings.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Capability to dissect and delve deeply into problems, including the extraction and analysis of data.
- Natural inclination to share information and actively engage with stakeholders and dependent teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Miro
- Agile mindset with a continuous improvement focus, team player mentality, and deep understanding of Lean/Kanban/Scrum/XP principles.
