Roster: 5:2 (Monday to Friday)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst with expertise in Power BI to join our Health and Safety team. In this role, you will focus on developing advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI to drive actionable insights and improve health and safety outcomes across our operations. Your role will involve harnessing Snowflake's technical capabilities to optimize data processing, and retrieval mechanisms, ensuring seamless support for reporting initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition from Tableau to Power BI, ensuring a seamless migration process and providing training and support to internal stakeholders.
- Lead the development of advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations in Power BI to provide actionable insights into health and safety performance metrics.
- Design and build robust data models in Power BI to facilitate efficient data analysis and visualization.
- Develop and maintain tables, views, and data models in Snowflake to support the Power BI dashboards and reporting needs. This includes designing and optimizing data structures to ensure efficient data retrieval and manipulation for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into intuitive and informative Power BI dashboards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on developing reports and dashboards in Power BI.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI, including the ability to create complex reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms for data management and reporting support.
- Excellent SQL skills, with experience writing complex queries to extract and manipulate data in Snowflake.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to consult with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
