Due to continued growth, we are seeking a new Senior Data Integration Developer where you will become part of a high-performing team that is passionate about providing exceptional service to its extensive customer base. In our IT Systems division, reporting to Technical Lead, you will be responsible for providing operational support and attending to user support requests, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner, as well as completing tasks in the SQL Datawarehouse environment.

The opportunity:
- Oversee complete process framework as per the ITIL best practices and standards
- Continuously streamline critical data environment processes to achieve best operations practices.
- Lead all operational problem resolutions in data environment to ensure problems and incidents are properly addressed and resolved within agreed SLA’s
- Driving a team of 3-4 members to meet KPIs
- Manage all system handover tasks from development owners to bed down into BAU.
- Confidently propose longer-term solutions with knowledge of SQL in an enterprise environment and using tools such as SSRS, SSIS and Visual Studio
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related technical field)
- 5+ years of experience SQL Engineer role or similar coupled with strong relational database & SQL query language experience.
- Experience in SQL stored procedure development (preferable in a MS SQL Server environment)
- Strong data manipulation skills coupled with strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Team management experience of small teams with 2-3 members.
- Strong SSIS experience with different data sources and formats.
- Strong communication skills to interact with internal and external customers
- Positive attitude to learn different technologies and platforms
- Good SSRS experience is desirable but not necessary.
