Lead a dynamic team of Data Scientists at VitalTrace, leveraging advanced statistical analysis and signal processing algorithms. Drive innovation with data science, shaping the future of childbirth technology!
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a team consisting primarily of Data Scientists to accomplish team and company goals, including motivating, mentoring, and coaching for various skill and knowledge levels.
- Develop team processes, prioritise data science work, develop team roadmaps and deliverables, and provide hands-on coaching and review of work performed by the team.
- Design and develop time series and signal processing algorithms for the biological signal feature detection and metrics calculation.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists and data engineers to define data requirements, clean and prepare data for training, evaluate model performance, and integrate models into scalable, production-ready systems.
- Perform rigorous testing and validation of models to ensure reliability and accuracy in diverse clinically-relevant scenarios. Utilise this to generate clinical evidence to support product design, regulatory pathways, and product launch.
- Conduct advanced statistical analysis to determine trends and significant data relationships. ANOVA, PCA, regression, modelling, forecasting, etc.
- Analyse biological data collected from biosensor systems, draw insights, and present results in a cohesive, intuitive, and simple manner to functional stakeholders.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand VitalTrace business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor and track model performance in production, identify and address issues, and iterate on models for continuous improvement.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions to meet company needs.
- Compiling the relevant documentation of product and system requirements, including those required to operate in a regulated medical device field.
- Work with clinicians, scientists, engineers, and Data Scientists to prepare scientific conference presentations and publications.
- We may from time to time vary or modify your duties but only to those duties for which you have the skill and competence.
