As a Senior Demand & Supply Planner at Red Bull, you're the dynamism behind the scenes, forecasting the next big thirst for energy with the precision of a skateboarder landing a kickflip. This role plays a key part within the Operations team as well as working closely with cross functional business partners in Sales, Marketing and Finance. The role will be involved with all areas of Demand and Supply planning with a particular focus on the local and global Sales & Operational Planning (S&OP) processes. Job DescriptionDEMAND PLANNING
Ownership of the Demand plan. You are responsible for analysing the forecast provided by the Commercial Sales team, using historical sales data, uplift from promotional activities, forecast accuracy performance and business targets to challenge where necessary through clear analysis and rationale to ensure accurate SKU forecasting.
Using your commercial knowledge and Demand planning expertise prepare and provide data/insights for the monthly Demand Review meetings to support appropriate decision-making for the business.
Run the Red Bull Australia SAP IBP modules for the weekly and monthly Global S&OP process and maintain relevant master data.
SUPPLY PLANNING
Maintain an 18-month rolling Supply plan for long-term capacity planning, manage inventory and safety stock levels, coordinate new product introductions and phase-outs, and participate in cost planning for physical distribution.
Maintain high customer service levels through weekly replenishment alignment to Global Supply. Communicate supply challenges and implications to stakeholders.
Contribute to monthly Sales and Operations Planning process by clearly informing of risks and opportunities to support business goals.
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
Establish strong trusting relationships with cross functional business partners as well as external stakeholders including 3PLs, suppliers and customers.
Monthly reporting and analysis of KPIs for the broader business (Forecast Variance to Trend, Forecast error, Days Cover).
Support and lead Continuous improvement project initiatives across Supply chain to reduce costs relating to service, goods destruction, inventory levels, local repacking and interstate stock transfers.
Qualifications5+ years working experience in Demand and Supply planning in an FMCG environment, with proven experience in a planning role with a focus on S&OP.
5+ years working experience using SAP, good ERP knowledge generally and advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
University qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or similar.
The ability to confidently business partner with other functions particularly the Sales, Marketing and Finance Teams. High calibre of professional interpersonal skills/EQ, with excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills (both oral and written).
Self-motivated team member who can drive resolutions to issues with strong problem-solving skills.
