We are seeking a Part Time Senior Registered Nurse to join our team as our Clinical Excellence Lead to support our Participants by:
- Providing clinical leadership and support across the organisation.
- Establish and oversee quality assurance programs relating to Clinical Practice and Clinical Governance.
- Develop and implement relevant professional development programs for staff and volunteers,
- Develop and implement education programs for clients, carers and team members to promote good health.
- Guide and mentor staff, including the Community Nurse, fostering a culture of learning and excellence.
- Oversee Clinical Policy Development, including the Clinical Governance Framework, risk management and continuous improvement.
- Develop relationships with local hospitals, medical, allied health, aged care and other community providers.
- Build the organisation’s capacity to effectively support the needs of people living with dementia.
This is not a Community Nursing role, this is a Clinical Governance and Compliance based role which will be largely hands-off
We are looking for a candidate available 3-4 days per week with one of these days being Monday, working between 4 and 6 hours per day.
To be successful in this role, you will need to:
- Hold and maintain a Nursing registration with the Australian Health Practitioner regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous Clinical Experience.
- Working knowledge of clinical governance frameworks and proven experience in compliance management.
- Previous experience in implementing policies, procedures and quality management processes.
Candidates who have the following attributes will be highly regarded:
- In-depth knowledge of working with Aged Care standards and community practice.
- Experience in designing and delivering education programs to community staff, clients and carers.
- Previous experience in a governance, compliance, quality and/or continuous improvement role.
You will also need to hold, or be willing to obtain, the following:
- Driver’s licence and access to a vehicle
- Police Check
- Working with Children’s check
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
