About the Position
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Dental Assistant with experience in Treatment Coordination to join our team! 2-3 days per week.
As an essential member of our practice, you will ensure a seamless and exceptional patient experience. Your responsibilities will include, learning and maintaining our efficient procedures and policies, offering outstanding service to both patients and dentists, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

What we are looking for in our new Senior DA/Treatment Coordinator:
- Excellent chair side skills and a desire to learn and grow with our specific technology and techniques
- An effective communicator: with patients, explaining treatment plans, procedures, cost and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Collaborative: with the dental team to develop customised treatment plans based on patient needs and dental records.
- The ability to coordinate appointments and manage the dental office schedule efficiently, considering patient and dentist availability.
- Experience in all aspects of clinical dentistry and payments:verifying insurance coverage, process claims, payment plans and assisting patients in understanding the financial aspects of their treatment plans.|
- Naturally providing exceptional patient care by following up post-treatment, ensuring satisfaction, and addressing any concerns that may arise.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience as a chairside Dental Assistant, Cert III / IV Cert (preferred).
- Previous front office/reception experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is essential.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex dental procedures in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong organisational skills and multitasking skills, handling pressure and multiple tasks with ease.
- Attention to detail to manage schedules, to coordinate appointments, and handle financial transactions accurately.
- Proficiency in our dental software and computer systems.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment procedures, and basic dental insurance processes.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and establish positive relationships with patients and the dental team.
