Our Senior Dental Manager (SDM) role is responsible for the day-to-day management, operations, administration, clinical services and work health and safety standards within our Dental Services based at 4 locations in NSW, 1 in Victoria and 1 in South Australia.
The SDM will ensure all necessary resources, systems, processes, and procedures are in place for the optimal running of the practices, while maintaining the highest standards of infection control, patient care and customer service. This role reports directly to and works closely with our Dental Clinical Director and will be the direct reporting manager for our Dental Practice Managers.

This role may from time to time, require you to work reasonable additional hours, as necessary, to fulfil the requirements of the position or as requested. Our Health Centre is open Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm and Saturdays 8.30am – 2:30pm.
What would you do as our Senior Dental Manager?
- Oversee the management of dental services operations across all 6 Teachers Health Centres in NSW, SA, and VIC.
- Leadership and management of the dental practice managers.
- Championing Teachers Health core values and culture across the team
- Monitor and review dental processes to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
- Regular risk assessments, assessing for and implementing safe working environment practice
- Ensure clinical governance processes, and operational uniformity, are in place across all dental clinics by assessing, auditing, and reviewing
- Manage equipment maintenance and updating infection control policies as per ADA and AHPRA policies and guidelines
- Management/Leadership experience within a large-scale or multi-site dental practice
- Tertiary qualifications in Medicine, Oral Health and/or Business Management are desirable
- Sound knowledge of infection control and dental standards
- A background in Dental Assisting (desirable)
- Proficiency in Oasis and Examine Pro software
- Familiarity with excellent practice and corporate governance
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to multitask
- Knowledge of office administration and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
