Senior Developer – Java, Spring, Hibernate
Multiple full-time temporary opportunities up to 2 years
Salary range from $120,859 - $133,183 plus super
Locations are flexible across NSW with hybrid working
We are currently seeking multiple Senior Developers (Java Full Stack) to deliver on major programs of work for NSW Government.
If you are a passionate developer with experience in migrating applications to cloud or keen in exploring cloud native development, we would love to hear from you!
In the role, you will learn and guide developers and contribute to the creation of large and complex applications that will facilitate the success of this major program. You will be a hands-on developer while supporting team members and ensuring that delivered solutions meet the business needs and adhere to coding and design standards.
To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:
Experience in coaching and providing guidance and training to less experienced IT professionals.
Strong communication skills with the ability to manage customer expectations
Ability to form collaborative relationships with business partners, professional stakeholders, 3rd party vendors and other team members
Experience in promoting and supporting agile/scrum development practices
Technical experience:
Java 11+, Springboot and JBOSS
Java development, Java 11+ desirable
Microservices and Microservice patterns
React, Redux, JavaScript ES6, CSS3
AWS
Springboot v2.x
Proficient skills in HTML, DHTML and HTML 5, a plus
Spring Data/ Hibernate
GIT, Bitbucket/Gitlab
SQL Queries, Oracle Queries
Kubernetes concepts and components understanding
Run Spring boot apps in Docker containers and tune docker configurations
Experience with component libraries like Bootstrap, Material-UI, Ant design or Semantic
