About the role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Development Assessment Planner to join our team in the role of Senior Development Assessment Planner. In this role you will be responsible for the assessment of a wide range of development proposals and subdivision certificates, assist with customer enquiries, oversee the running and provision of advice at pre-lodgement meetings, mentor staff and provide expert evidence in the NSW Land and Environment Court. Applicants should also have demonstrated experience presenting to Local and State Planning Panels as well as Urban Design Review Panels.

Essential Criteria
A tertiary qualification in Planning or relevant field
Demonstrated senior experience in the assessment and determination of a wide range of development applications and/or senior experience as a planning professional
Current Class C Driver’s Licence.
Desirable Criteria
Previous experience in a NSW Local Government environment
Demonstrated ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
Salary Range: $100,424.00 - $116,244.00 per annum, plus 11% Superannuation.
Access to a Leaseback Vehicle is available with this position; however, it is not a condition of employment.
This position requires the worker to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 or to hold a medical contraindication certificate.
