Key Responsibility Areas
Development Engineering
- Expert Oversight: You'll meticulously review Engineering Plans, Environmental Management Plans, and assess traffic, drainage, and subdivision referrals for planning and development applications. Your attention to detail will ensure compliance with engineering standards.
- Assessment and Referrals: Undertake engineering assessments for town planning, subdivision, and building proposals. Respond promptly to referrals, addressing Development Engineering issues with precision.
- Team Support: Collaborate with the Team Leader and Lead Development Engineer on critical Subdivision and Development Engineering matters. Your insights will shape our projects and enhance our community.
- Delegated Approvals: As a trusted authority, consider and approve all Development Engineering matters delegated to this position under the Council's Deed of Delegation. Your decisions will impact the city's growth.
- Effective Communication: Respond to Development Engineering enquiries promptly. Engage in collaborative meetings with internal stakeholders, external parties, and relevant bodies. Your communication skills will foster successful partnerships.
- Supporting Planning and Development: Provide valuable advice and support to planning and development staff as needed. Your expertise will guide our city's progress.
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Qualifications: A degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in Development Engineering, subdivision, and town planning processes.
