Avenor drove the establishment of the $1.5bn Atlassian HQ project in Sydney and the surrounding TechCentral State Significant Precinct, the $700m East Walker Street tower in North Sydney and other similar residential, commercial, health and logistics projects. With this in mind, we’re seeking a high-performer with well rounded experience and a self-motivated passion for what they do.
The role of Project Director / Senior Development Manager is central to the growth of our residential business unit and the future growth of the Avenor Group.
If you have over 15-years’ experience and an outstanding track record in property development with experience in large projects, and exposure to residential and mixed-use projects, then this could be the right role for you.
You should apply if you're strong in
- Planning: Capable of independently managing the production and submission of an SSDA and a Planning Proposal.
- Design: Driving the design development of large residential projects.
- Project Control: Lead PCG meetings, with strong governance and reporting standards, self-initiating requests for internal approvals that drive projects forward.
- Procurement: Working with team to ensure timely procurement of consultants and management of budgets.
- Feasibility: Control the budgets within the parameters of project feasibilities, identifying and capitalising on opportunities and identifying and minimising risks.
- Transactions: Support acquisition managers as required, or in particular circumstances, adopt responsibility for concluding acquisitions.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain and appropriately manage internal and external stakeholders including vendors, authorities, other team members, financiers, consultant teams.
