Senior Diesel Mechanic

Senior Truck Technician 
$50 p/hr + penalties (paid weekly)

We are currently seeking applicants for the role of a Senior Truck Mechanic at our Kunda Park workshop on the Sunshine Coast with an IMMEDIATE START. 

What we offer

• Flexible Hours (No weekend work) 4/5 day week. 
• Hourly rate + penalties (paid weekly) 
• Mainly workshop based - some field service

What we are asking

• Experience on Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, and Isuzu.
• Effectively complete general servicing, preventative maintenance, and repairs on a range of trucks.
• Efficiently diagnose and fix mechanical problems.
• Components rebuild experience is a big advantage. Especially engines and gearbox, but not essential.
• The right candidate will enjoy working in a team environment as well as been capable of working solo when required.  
• Previous experience in a similar role (5-year min post trade experience)
• Applicant must have current Qld driver's licence (HR) minimum
• Experience using diagnostics programs.
• Ability to liaise with workshop scheduler / planner about job technicalities, approvals and timelines.
• An open mind to change, we are constantly evolving and looking for ways to improve our business, we want your input, and want you to be willing to evolve with us.
• Must have your own basic tooling

We are an Approved Inspection Station.
