Participation in the Employee Share Plan Flexible working arrangements and industry leading parental leave and family care policy ABOUT THE ROLEThis role is a Permanent, DIDO role from our Worsley Alumina Refinery, which is a short drive from Collie (15 minutes), Bunbury (45 minutes) and other nearby scenic communities. As the Senior Draft Person, you will be responsible for supporting a team of internal Draft Persons and external service providers to accomplish the Design Services Team mandate.Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Delivery of the design as per stakeholders' requirements for both Capital and Operational projects. Own and maintain Worsley's drawing management system (Autodesk Vault) Own and Maintain Worsley's Drafting standard specifications. Manage drafting team's workload and assist the Design Services Superintendent for future resource planning ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: Several years working experience in an Engineering Drafting and Design Role in an operating asset or Consultancy. Extensive knowledge of Mechanical/Structural/Civil or Electrical Drafting, tools and software's Significant experience in delivering complete life cycle of design works within a brownfield environment within the resources or other heavy industry Experience in coaching and mentoring Drafting team. Sound understanding and proven experience in developing and managing drafting estimate and schedule Qualifications for this position are: Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent experience South32 is committed to building and maintaining an inclusive and diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we operate.
