As a Senior Educator you will be a team player, collaborating with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader within your centre to observe, inform and continuously improve our educational programs on offer to children. You put safety first with everything that you do and ensure all learning experiences are inclusive and respond to the needs of all children.  
About Goodstart Eaton:
Goodstart Early Learning Eaton is located in the heart of Eaton and has Glen Huon Primary School and Eaton Community College directly across the road. We are close to local schools and shops as well as main roads and public transport.
We pride ourselves in always being motivated and friendly; we are constantly updating our skills and researching new learning and play ideas. We offer a range of services to each family, including exciting educational programs for all age groups and a variety of events and activities that make us part of the great community we live in.
Our educators work hard to form strong bonds with the children and their families so that friendships will flourish during their time here at Goodstart Eaton. This is accomplished through role modelling and guidance and striving to provide a warm, caring, fun and secure environment so that each child can gain the self-confidence needed to face the world.
We encourage open communication between the centre and the families who use our service through various mediums and through family participation within the centre. Our child care centre boasts cultures from all across the globe and includes learning and enjoyment from other cultures. Our educators promote cultural learning through our daily program.
Inside our centre, all of the rooms are set up in line with an Early Years Learning Framework, with sensory and play based learning opportunities. Colourful, stimulating surrounds ensure the children have the chance to grow and develop through sensory, play-based learning.
Our centre was assessed by the Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority and we received an overall rating of ‘Exceeding’. This process is a National Framework, which rates all Childcare Centres across Australia against the National Quality Standards.
Our Storypark platform, as well as regular family nights and emailed newsletters, enable us to stay in close contact with parents and families, ensuring open and clear communication. This also means we can tailor each program to the child’s individual needs, interests and strengths – as well as the strong level of cultural diversity in our centre.
Outside, we have three areas all with age appropriate play spaces and equipment. We have plenty of space for the children to explore and use their imaginations with a balance of manmade and natural elements including sandpits, veggie patches, a worm farm, nursery yard, wooden fort, tractor tyres, bark pit, climbing equipment, a bike track and of course lots of shade!
At Goodstart Eaton, we provide a warm and supportive environment, which allows children to explore, experiment and problem solve. We provide nutritionally balanced menus. We have a state of the art, purpose built early learning facility with five large rooms. We provide work experience opportunities for the local high school students to access if wanting to train in childcare.

You’ll need:
•
Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
•
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
•
Current Western Australia Working with Childrens Check
