About the role:

At Lendlease, operating safely across all our operations and projects, and maintaining the physical and mental health of our people is a significant part of our culture and the way we do business. We currently have multiple opportunities for Senior EHS professionals to join our Victorian business and drive this culture of safety across our sites in Melbourne.

This role will see you work closely with the project team to lead safety across the project. You will be responsible for driving EHS performance on site, providing technical expertise to identify issues and trends, monitoring compliance on staff and subcontractors with Lendlease EHS protocols and implementing safety and training initiatives to improve our safety performance.

To be successful you will need:

  • Prior experience in an EHS Coordinator/Manager/Advisor position, ideally from within the construction and/or engineering industries.

  • Large-scale commercial project experience will be highly regarded.

  • Strong understanding and knowledge of local legal and regulatory health and safety requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of safe working systems, legislation, rules, and procedures.

  • Clear and articulate communication skills coupled with an ability to manage stakeholders, both internally and externally.
