About:We are seeking a highly talented Senior Electrical Design Engineer within the Canberra region. This is a pivotal role within the organization operating in a senior consultant capacity on a permanent, full-time basis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with Architects, clients and various stakeholders, overseeing business development, fee proposals, contract management, and ensuring engineering compliance is met.
Our client is an established, highly respected engineering consultancy firm handling a diverse portfolio of large scale projects with a specialization on building services.

Key Criteria:
- High degree of practical skill and knowledgeable within the design and engineering disciplines in the context of building service electrical design
- High degree of knowledge in Australian Standards
- Strong hands on experience with an additional 3-4+ years of senior experience in an Australian Engineering consultancy practice
- Developed knowledge of how a consultancy operates
- Confident in business development and client relations
- Confident working autonomously as well as with and being a part of a team
- Mentoring clients and ensuring an understanding of electrical services
- Engineering degree, Charter Professional Engineer status and currently registered with the National Engineering Register
