Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services

As we continue to expand our team, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join us in delivering cutting-edge projects and driving excellence in Electrical Engineering.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems and solutions for a variety of projects. You will lead a team of engineers, providing technical expertise, guidance, and mentorship to ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of electrical systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Conduct detailed analysis, calculations, and simulations to optimize system performance and reliability.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, drawings, and documentation for electrical components and systems with regards Australian Standards and Industry Codes of Practice
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members, fostering professional growth and development.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and clients, to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems into overall project designs.
• Conduct site visits and inspections as needed to assess project requirements and ensure quality control during implementation.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Electrical Engineering, and incorporate relevant advancements into project designs and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  Certified Professional Engineer (CPE) preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on Building Services
• Proven track record of leading Electrical Engineering projects from concept to completion, with a strong emphasis on innovation and quality
• Extensive knowledge of electrical design principles, codes, and standards
  Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and electrical design software 
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
