We are seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead a key project focused on the evaluation and enhancement of a 33KV line, ensuring power supply continuity to critical infrastructures such as pumping stations and dewatering systems. This role will concentrate on Low Voltage (LV) solutions.
Role Overview:
- Duration: Initial 12-month engagement with potential extensions based on project requirements.
- Location: Perth CBD, with periodic visits to project sites.
- This major sustaining project aims to develop additional ore bodies to maintain current production levels.
- Extensive involvement in designing NPI infrastructure such as haul roads, gas pipeline crossings, LV access roads, and more.
- First six months dedicated to basic design, transitioning to detailed design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic to detailed design phases of electrical systems for mining non-process infrastructure.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless design and implementation.
- Adhere to and influence project timelines and milestones.
Candidate Requirements:
- Electrical Engineering Degree, recognized by Engineers Australia.
- At least 8 years of experience in Electrical Engineering with a focus on design engineering (not project or site-based engineering).
- Experience in mining non-process infrastructure or onshore oil and gas projects preferred.
- High energy and driven, with the ability to work independently and initiate project components.
- Excellent communication skills and the capacity to manage projects independently.
- No significant annual leave planned for the next 6 months post-hire.
