The role

The Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise to the business. This includes overseeing brownfield projects ranging from smaller single-discipline projects to larger multi-discipline projects, contributing to the planning process, providing input into specialist designs, reviewing estimates, providing high-level operations support, leading investigations into critical asset failures, resolving technical problems and making recommendations.  

Selection Criteria

To be successful you will need to have a degree in Electrical/Instrumentation Engineering and have solid experience working in electrical and instrumentation design, construction and project management - this includes preparing budgets, scheduling and scope of works.  You will also need to have worked as a Senior E&I Engineer in a heavy industry environment in either chemical, heavy manufacturing or minerals processing.   Your excellent communication skills with your ability to build effective working relationships will see you secure this 6-12-month contract.
