Form of workAbout the Role: We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Senior Industrial Electrician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to advance their career and step into a senior role within a dynamic industrial environment. The role will involve working on exciting projects in the oil and gas, renewables, and utilities sectors, collaborating with international clients all from the comfort of SE Queensland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in industrial settings.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures for you and those around you.
- Collaborating with international clients on diverse projects.
- Building and assembling control panels and switchboards with a focus on quality.
Requirements:
- Team Player - be a mentor to those on the team with less experience, and provide improvement ideas in areas such as safety, cost, productivity and efficiency.
- Valid driver's license.
- Electrical Fitter / Mechanic license.
- Hazardous Areas ticket.
- Low Voltage Rescue/CPR certification.
- White Card (Construction Induction).
Preferred Skills:
- QTP (Qualified Technical Person) or be open to getting it.
- Experience in running and testing driveheads.
- Familiarity with oil and gas skids operations.
Benefits:
- Great work-life balance: Monday to Thursday, 6 am to 2 pm, and Friday, 6 am to 12 pm.
- Overtime - while not a lot is on offer, we typically do about 3-5 hours per week. During projects this increases significantly depending on customer requirements.
