About the role
This role is responsible for designing solutions and to take lead on specific projects while coordinating and consulting with the environmentalists, Water and structural team.
Duties
- Conduct investigations, option studies, concept designs, detail designs and technical specifications to required engineering standards, Council policies and guidelines
- Review and sign off water related infrastructure design drawings.
- Supervise a team pf professionals and offer guidance whenever required
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in execution of Water and Sewer projects
- Develop and monitor annual design and investigation works programs and prepare annual budgets.
- Bachelor of Civil Engineering and extensive disciplined knowledge and relevant experience in civil engineering
- Must have RPEQ accreditation
- 7+years experience in sewerage treatment plant, waste water treatment, potable water supply network etc.
- Knowledge of design and design delivery experience essential
- Drivers license
