ABOUT THE ROLE:
PERSOLKELLY have partnered with a specialist environmental consultancy, which provides solutions for remediating, developing, and managing contaminated land. Our client prides themselves on a collaborative and innovative culture, striking a balance between a strong work ethic and a professional yet enjoyable environment. They are currently looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant to join their team to oversee the Sydney team and actively contribute to future success. As a Senior Environmental Consultant, you will play a key role in leading the Sydney office and managing a wide range of environmental projects across Australia. Your responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities
- Coordinating mid and junior-level staff to streamline project execution and completion.
- Mentoring and upskilling junior and mid-level team members.
- Overseeing various office management tasks such as resource allocation and facilities management.
- Cultivate productive and long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and success.
- Comprehensive project management for a wide range of environmental scopes across Australia, ensuring compliance with relevant state and Federal legislation, industry standards, and approval processes.
- Drive current and future business development initiatives by identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the environmental consulting field
You will have:
- A tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- A minimum of 5 years of full-time experience in Contaminated Land Management and/or Environmental Consultancy.
- Proficiency in managing teams of subcontractors.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully delivering small to large-scale projects.
- Familiarity with relevant standards and guidelines.
- Strong communication and report writing skills.
- Familiarity with ESdat, ESlog software or similar
- Possession of a Licensed Asbestos Assessor (LAA) certification
- Possession of a full C Class Driver's license (manual).
