About the role:
Seeking a full-time Senior Estimator to coordinate and price our incoming project developments and tenders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide accurate estimates of jobs including purchase orders and variations.
- Obtaining Quotes and Liaising with Suppliers and Trades
- Reviewing all documentation and identifying/resolving any discrepancies
- Computing costs for future projects including labour, materials and time requirements
- Margin Assessment and analysis to ensure margins are maintained
- Communicating with management about the projects and delivering of requested returnable schedules.
- Generate and maintain existing BOQs within Databuild
- Providing support to Estimating Manager as required
What do you need?
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior Estimator within residential construction - detached housing (multi density) or projects
- Ability to prioritise work, manage timeframes and hit deadlines
- Experience constructing bill of quantities and setting up orders
- Strong communication skills between suppliers, trades and developers
- Sound knowledge of the constriction process and industry standards
- Proficiency with Databuild
