Senior Executive / Assistant Manager, Trade Marketing

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Marketing
Assist Senior Manager, Trade Marketing in support services, including training/updates of trade, organising events and activities, conducting sales visits; planning and escorting famils.
Plan, coordinate & execute the identified special trade marketing programmes independently.
Set up key initiatives and support for niche and special interest (including cruise, horse-racing, rugby 7’s and Dragon Boat Races etc.).
Manage the “Hong Kong Specialist” program, Trade Website and PartnerNet for Aus/NZ market; liaise with Head office teams to develop the various sites; grow the database and increase pageviews on PartnerNet.
Responsible for regular trade newsletter; produce and distribute to Aus & NZ travel trade personnel; liaise with vendor on a need basis.
Manage state-based contacts for trade partners; owning the role of the day-to-day contact for state-based stakeholders.
Prepare trade update news for Head Office reports including weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
Assist in any specific Trade & MICE projects & activities.
Respond to Australia & NZ, MICE, trade & cruise enquiries in a timely and professional manner and ensure collateral and giveaways are up to date.
Ensure adequate supply of literature are available, and develop information flyers and materials as needed.
Manage and provide support in the maintenance of industry databases.
Office Administration
Oversee giveaways, film, video and image requests.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University graduate with at least 4 years of relevant working experiences, preferably gained in tourism-related fields, together with good working knowledge of Hong Kong.
Confident and professional in dealing with trade partners of the Hong Kong Tourism Board, with good communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, able to work under pressure, meet essential deadlines, and to contribute effectively to the team effort.
Proficient in MS office applications.
LOCATION:
The position is located in our Sydney office.
We do not offer moving allowances from other cities.
