We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join our Funds Finance team at our state-of-the-art offices in Barangaroo and help us achieve our strategic objectives. We have a permanent position and a 12-month fixed-term contract opportunity available.
Leading a high-performing team, the role will deliver accounting, tax and investor reporting deliverables to support the General Manager Funds Management and the Fund Managers to meet the requirements of all legislative and Investment Management Agreements/Fund Constitutions including but not limited to:
Period end trial balances and accounting models (frequency as determined by investor requirements).
Quarterly capital management reporting, forecasting and compliance.
Fund associated regulatory reporting.
Calculation of Fund CUVs, Fund quarterly distributions and management fees.
Preparation of fund annual financial statements.
Preparation of Finance inputs to Investor reporting.
Deliver tax compliance obligations including annual returns, monthly BAS, Quarterly tax calculations.
Support and collaborate with the internal and external valuation teams as required.
Suitable candidates will have strong experience in financial reporting, preferably exposure with trust and fund accounting experience. Your background will be supported by tertiary qualifications in finance or accounting and post tertiary qualifications such as CPA or CA. A key part of the role is to lead and develop a team of finance professionals onshore and offshore, you will have a proven track record of inspiring and motivating teams, excellent communication skills and a commitment to fostering a collaborative work environment to drive a high performing result orientated (and fun) team.
