Senior Finance Manager

Our client is seeking to engage a Senior Finance Manager.
Contract Length: Permanent, Full time
RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• The Senior Finance Manager is a professional who is responsible for the accounting activities and for ensuring that ledgers accurately reflect money coming in and out of the company.
• The Senior Finance Manager will also be responsible for the financial planning, analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting of financial elements and performance pertaining to the business.
• The Senior Finance Manager is responsible for assisting the Chief Operating Officer implement strategies that will produce efficiency and productivity.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Chartered Accountant (CA)

RESPONSILBITIES:
WEEKLY -

• Daily Reconciliation of all company Xero Profiles
• Preparation and Processing of Payroll
• Recording of Weekly PAYG Liability to ATO
• Reconciliation of the company Cash Flow and updating of future forecasting

MONTHLY -

• Lodgement of Superannuation Liability for Payment
• Preparation of EOM release schedule with credit card allocations, withholdings, and releases
• Preparation and Submission of ABS Monthly Wage Index Survey
• Assist with company finance reconciliations including supplier statement matching
• Preparation and distribution of Monthly Project Reports
• Preparation and distribution of Monthly Management Reports
• Ensuring timely closeout of all accounting systems at the end of month
• Preparation and Lodgement of Payroll Tax
• Population of Fuel Tax Credit Spreadsheet
• Closing off the system on the 4th of each month
• Running of the Depreciation Schedule (CWPH)
• Preparation and Processing of Internal Journals
• Preparation and processing of Weekly Internal Claim back

QUARTERLY -

• Calculation and Reporting of Long Service Leave to the Long Service Leave Board
• BAS Reviews including GST Worksheet and submission
• Preparation and Submission of ABS Quarterly Business Index Survey
