Your new company
Located in Perth's southern suburbs, our client is seeking a Senior Finance Officer on a full-time 12-month FTC basis to join their large finance team.
Your new role
- Assist the manager with providing leadership and guidance to the team as required.
- Provide transaction processing services for financial and support transactions.
- Ensure necessary bookkeeping and reporting are produced, reviewed and disseminated periodically.
- Proactively monitor customer service levels and ensure issues are resolved as they arise.
- Monitor all transaction-related control processes on an ongoing basis to ensure they are operating effectively.
- Proactively undertake improvements to existing processes.
What you'll need to succeed
- Relevant degree in Accounting or Finance.
- More than 4 years' experience in Accounting and Finance.
- Bookkeeping skills with end-to-end financial competency; accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, processing payroll, credit cards and bank accounts reconciliations, month-end balance sheet reconciliations, month-end budget and P&L, general ledger management and BAS preparation.
- Working towards a CA/CPA qualification is favourable.
- Enthusiastic, a quick learner, ambitious, friendly and outgoing.
