- Permanent - part time 4 days per week (office based)
- $56,000-$60,000 per annum - depending on experience, qualifications, etc.
- Located in Parkinson, QLD
About the role
As a Senior Finance Officer, you'll be responsible for supervising and maintaining Queensland periodical payroll documentation, invoice payable processes, billing team, and general office administration.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable invoice disbursement and coding.
- Conduct end-of-month analysis of workflow invoices, including reporting and journals.
- Liaise with Head Office to set up all new suppliers and clients.
- Supervise a small accounts team.
- Check, amend, and approve timesheets.
- Prepare payroll documentation for final processing.
- Handle payroll and account queries from managers, employees, and external parties.
- Assist the HR Manager when required.
- Provide innovative ideas and suggestions for process improvement.
- Monitor and manage any troubleshooting required.
About you
- Proven experience in accounts and payroll.
- Knowledge of payroll processing, including EBA and Award interpretation.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly intermediate Excel.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
