About the positon:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Financial Accountant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the month-end process, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and providing crucial support to our Finance Manager and CFO. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of financial functions, including streamlining processes for new system implementation, financial reporting, management reporting, Audit, balance sheet & P&L review.
Responsibility Area:
- Support the month-end process
- Posting of any required journals / month-end adjustments.
- Coordinate and complete annual audits with the Finance Manager
- Support the preparation of all tax returns and calculations.
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to management (excel reporting)
- Developing and implementing financial systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Deliver accurate and timely reporting across the business (weekly & Monthly)
- Support the budgeting and forecasting.
- CA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Relevant experience in a finance related role with a commercial operational focus
- 3-5 years exp
- Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
- Enjoy adding value by operating as a business partner to operational stakeholders
