AddressCoast Community Connections Limited (CCCL) is a registered charity and not-for-profit organisation providing community services caring for people across the Central Coast. The organisation has a strong reputation in the Community as a provider of childcare services across the Central Coast.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Senior Financial Accountant will work closely with the CFO to provide financial analysis that supports the ongoing growth and expansion of the organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Manage financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger;
- Prepare financial reports, annual reports, ACNC reporting, GST, tax and payroll reporting;
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations;
- Manage payroll processing, salary packaging benefits program and reporting in line with relevant Awards.
- Assist with Company audits;
- Supervise and mentor casual and temporary staff.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
- CPA certification;
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance;
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations;
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, preferably Xero;
- Previous experience working within the Childcare Sector will be highly regarded.
A Working with children check and a National Criminal History Check Clearance are required to be completed and as part of the selection process for this position. These clearance must be maintained throughout the life of employment with CCCL.
