About Northparkes Operations
Northparkes will celebrate 30 years of operations in 2024 and is known for innovative technology and committed people. Northparkes uses multiple mining methods including open pit, sub-level caving and was the first mine in Australia to use the block cave mining method. About the role
We are looking for a talented Senior Financial Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a key role in the financial reporting and compliance onsite.
You will be responsible for delivering on the financial reporting needs of Northparkes Operations. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders overseeing both statutory and internal reporting requirements, as well as manage the financial compliance obligations of the business.
Working Monday to Friday on a 9-day fortnight roster, this permanent full-time role allows you to appreciate the ability to go home each afternoon and enjoy all the family and lifestyle benefits that living and working in the Central West has to offer.

About you
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA or Chartered qualifications highly regarded)
- Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting
- Sound knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
