A role you will love
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team forms part of the Global Finance department focusing on benchmarking and management reporting activities. The position reports into the ANZ FP&A Manager.
This is a fast paced role with the FP&A Senior Analyst expected to have high analytical skill, having a continuous ability to learn while adhering to critical time constraints. The role is required to create process stability in the region as we undergo process and system transformation.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and roll forward forecast and budget review templates and monthly management reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Conduct variance and business analysis on profit and loss items, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Reconcile general ledger level vs plan level accounts, investigating and resolving discrepancies as needed
- Collaborate with various finance teams to gather and analyse data for financial reporting and analysis
- Develop a deep understanding of Oracle systems and the flow of data to results, providing guidance and recommendations for system improvements
- Assist in the development of state/segment view reporting, ensuring alignment with overall financial objectives
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decision-making

Other key skills required for the role include:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as Senior Analyst is essential
- Prior experience in mid-tier or large ASX listed business in a similar role
- CA/CPA qualified
- Strong communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills, ability to interact with stakeholders across different business units and locations
- Advanced Excel skills with modelling experience and proficient in PowerPoint
- Ability to adapt quickly to our fast-paced and changing environment
- Expert at problem-solving and critical thinking
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
