What you'll do:
As the (Senior) FP&A Analyst, you'll be at the heart of strategic decisions and optimising financial operations. Your expertise in financial planning, data analysis, dashboard creation will be instrumental in boosting dealership performance. You'll have the chance to craft comprehensive financial models, design interactive dashboards, perform detailed variance analyses, collaborate with cross-functional teams, prepare detailed financial reports, support strategic initiatives, and continuously enhance financial processes. This role could potentially grow into a managerial role in the future!
- Craft and maintain comprehensive financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
- Design and manage interactive dashboards to monitor dealership performance, unearthing key trends and insights
- Perform detailed variance analysis and provide explanations for significant deviations from budget and forecast
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations for improvement
- Support strategic initiatives and special projects by providing in-depth financial analysis and business case development
- Continuously enhance financial processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this role will bring a strong background in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the automotive/wholesale industry. You will have proven experience in creating and managing complex financial models and dashboards, with strong proficiency in data analysis tools. Your excellent analytically, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills will be key to your success in this role. Furthermore, your strong communication and presentation skills will enable you to convey complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field; MBA or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is advantageous
- Proven experience (3+ years) in financial planning and analysis, preferably within the automotive industry or a related field
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI)
- Demonstrated ability to create and manage complex financial models and dashboards
- Excellent analytically, problem-solving, critical thinking skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team managing multiple priorities
