Job DescriptionAbout this opportunity
Lead the delivery of Financial Performance and Analysis (FP&A) activities. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, collaboration and stakeholder engagement, you will work closely with your finance counterparts in Divisional Finance Business Partnering (DFBP), Manufacturing Finance CoE and Group Finance teams.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Drive a consistent planning, budgeting and forecasting approach
- Coordinate the completion of the budgets and forecasts in a timely and robust manner
- Lead preparation and roll up of cyclical management reporting (annual, quarterly, monthly, weekly) across Segments and Division that may include linking financial and non- Finance information from various sources to provide meaningful insights
- Lead the analysis of complex business issues, working with DFBPs to complete
- Support capital expenditure forecasting and reporting
- Review Balance sheet reconciliations and provide analytical review of balances in comparison to prior year.
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Demonstrated experience from leading the end-to-end planning, budgeting and forecasting process
- Strong financial analysis skills and experience with ability to turn business analysis into insights and clearly articulate these to finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Previous experience in fast moving, complex business environments, with experience in an FP&A role. Previous manufacturing industry experience desirable
- Demonstrated experience in driving process improvement
- Ability to work to challenging deadlines in demanding fast paced environment
- Proactive in identifying and solving complex problems / issues
- Skills in systems, data and BI/Planning applications preferred (e.g. SAP Intelligent Cloud, Cognos, Hyperion, Anaplan, PowerBI etc.)
- Tertiary qualifications essential in Finance, accounting, commerce/business, preferably with post graduate qualifications such as MBA
- CPA/CA qualified
