Senior FP&A Analyst
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, Australia & New Zealand; this role is responsible for providing support to management in the areas of strategy, budgeting and forecast, and the provision of financial analysis to drive improved financial performance. This is a true business partner role, requiring strong technical capabilities and a demonstrated ability to advise and influence leaders in order to facilitate well-informed decisions.
WHAT WILL YOU BE REPONSIBLE FOR?
- Consult with Business Unit Leaders and Marketing Managers to understand the business, markets, competitors, customer dynamics, product performance drivers and franchise strategy.
- Prepare and explain financial models to provide detailed analysis on business performance and operating efficiencies - leverage financial insights to provide recommendations to Business Unit Leaders, highlight trends or data that expose opportunities and risks.
- Lead preparation of budgets and forecasts for the franchise and participate in development of Annual Operating Plan.
- As required, lead critical financial system deployments or projects, including: • mapping project timelines and deliverables;
- defining responsibilities and resources;
- formulating stakeholder communications and updates;
- coordination of testing to ensure end user experience is in line with scope;
- facilitation of training to end users: and
- delivering project within required timelines.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
- CA/CPA Qualified.
- Advanced Excel Skills and Strong Analytical Skills.
- 5 years minimum experience in similar technical / systems oriented Business Analyst role - desirable.
- Initiative and ability to work well within a fast-paced organization often under tight deadlines.
- Project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-starter/autonomous and pro-active.
- Ability to solve problems and work independently and collaboratively as part of the Finance team.
- Experience with Tableau & Hyperion - desirable.
