In this role, you will partner with the Provider revenue and marketing teams and provide them financial planning and technology-driven analytical support for decision making. The provider channel includes but is not limited to wholesale, pharmacy, and hospital accounts. The Provider channel is an important part of our business, for the successful candidate there would be opportunity for growth.
 

Let’s talk about the role:

FP&A

  • Provide management with sound financial information and analysis on different business opportunities, to maximise strategic intention and support key stakeholder decision making.
  • Provide regular and on-going insights to the performance of the Provider channel, markets, business managers and products.
  • Complete the budgeting and forecasting process for the ANZ Provider channel.
  • Generate monthly P&Ls for the Provider channel, review variance analysis with business partners and drive gross margin improvement and SG&A efficiencies.
  • Support the setup of promotional offers, rebate agreement and pricing changes.
  • Provide analytical support for new initiatives, including product launches and new programs, monitor and evaluate the performance.
  • Develop and prepare management reports/presentations for Sales Director and first line managers.

Business Partnership

  • Develop into a trusted business partner with the ability to challenge and influence Provider channel leadership’s decisions, while building business relationships.
  • Able to support Provider business strategic decisions; contribute in building Provider business models and product offerings etc.
  • Understand key business levers to business initiatives, provide insights that drive decision and outcome. Develop an understanding of the drivers for channel conflict and able to navigate through appropriately with support.
  • Work with Accounting team and Corporate Finance to ensure month end closing and reporting adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements.

Systems and BI tools

  • Ensure the planning and reporting systems fully support business processes and assist with the implementation of changes and improvements to these software systems.
  • Use technology to monitor the key metrics and operations of Provider channel.
  • Continuously drive process improvement to translate business needs to operational steps and system processes.
  • Build performance dashboards, track goals and progress on key initiatives.

Required: ​(Qualifications/experiences that are a must for the position)

  • Business, Commerce or related degree
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar FP&A role with good accounting and revenue reporting knowledge
  • Proficient in data gathering from cloud through SQL, BI tools (E.g TM1, Cognos) and budgeting systems (E.g Anaplan).
  • Substantial experience in top ERP systems (Eg. Oracle) and creation of data visualization dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, etc)
  • Must be flexible and adaptable in ‘real-time’ process work environment.

Preferred: (Qualifications/experiences that are preferred for the position)

  • Prefer to have worked in a fast-paced, complex, global and dynamic environment.
  • Project and system implementation experience will be highly regarded.
  • CA or CPA qualification
  • Deep knowledge in Wholesale space, understand the key levers that drive wholesale, pharmacy, and hospital business growth; Understand how to drive business growth supported by return-on-investment analysis.
  • Innovative, dynamic with high attention to detail, and ability to foster trust with all business functions.
  • Ability to guide and develop others in the team.
