Rise supports aged care clients in the community by providing at home Gardening and maintenance services. In this role (known as ‘Senior Gardening and Home Maintenance Worker’) you will assist with administration tasks and provide training, supervision and mentioning to the wider Maintenance Services team. Additionally, you will maintain equipment, keep records, and assist the Senior Coordinator with ongoing improvements for the service.
This position is offered on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with the possibility for extension/permanency. The hours for this role will be Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:06pm based at our Yira Mira location (Mount Richon), with occasional visits to other Rise locations such as our Peter Anderton Centre (Forrestfield). You may also be required to provide direct Gardening and Home Maintenance services in the community to cover sick leave when needed.

- Practical experience leading people and teams.
- Experience in gardening, home, and property maintenance (qualifications an extra bonus!)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to build professional relationships with a diverse group of clients.

- Ability the bend, kneel and lift correctly to be able to perform duties safely.
