Senior Geologist

The Opportunity? Currently our Geology Service Department has a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Geologist to join our Head Office located in Subiaco.

Reporting to the General Manager of the department, this role is responsible for managing technical geology programs, to support projects for the Discovery, Growth or Mining teams with the overarching objective of improving geological understanding, leading to high quality 3D geological models. Key responsibilities include: Manage geological programs, such as geological mapping (underground, in open pits and at surface) and diamond drill core relogging.

This includes collection of geological data, collation and interpretation of data and generating maps and 3D geological models incorporating the geological understanding. Generate presentations that clearly communicate geological understanding and the implications for exploration targeting…
