Senior Geologist

We are proud to have one of Australasia's largest Geotechnical practices. Our clients tap into more than 150 specialist geoscience professionals, including engineers, geologists, geophysicists and hydrogeologists who provide comprehensive investigation and design services, with a focus on large-scale infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity to based in St Leonards, Sydney while being part of the wider Sydney Region team. Working alongside internationally renowned subject matter experts on exciting major infrastructure projects in delivery in Greater Sydney, including Sydney Metro and Major Road infrastructure projects, sustainable and pumped hydro projects as well as locally based and regional work.

Working with the successful and dedicated Sydney Geotechnics and Tunnels Team these positions offer a great variety and will see you involved in:

Working with the team to deliver exciting projects across dams, tunnelling, and major infrastructure projects
Developing your mapping and slope stability analysis skills
3D geotechnical modelling and interpretation
Designing and leading field investigations and report writing for projects

What you will bring to the team

A firm understanding and working knowledge of Australian Standard soil and rock logging
Experience in slope remediation and landslips
The ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams as well as individually
Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
Strong safety leadership skills
Relevant tertiary qualification
