National WHS Manager
Safety and employee wellbeing responsibility in a culture of continuous improvement. Partner with the business and deliver comprehensive health, safety, and well-being programs within the organisation leading a team of WHS professionals. This is a leadership role to coach and support line managers to drive a culture of safety throughout the organisation in the handling of day-to-day issues. You will need to bring the leadership required to ensure actions to eliminate or control hazards within the workplace and empower all personnel implement best practice WHS in their workplaces. Advice to the business on appropriate management and controls to minimise risk is in your remit along with the administration required to ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken with operations and other key personnel.
If you can demonstrate leadership and commitment and accountability for the workplace Health and Safety performance with experience within a WHS leadership role we want the hear from you. We would also like to see a tertiary qualification in workplace Health and Safety (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of relevant WHS legislation, Codes of Practice and Standards. A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment advantageous. This role carries responsibility for the HS&W budget and third-party service agreements.
