RoleSummary:
The SeniorHealth & Wellbeing Advisor role is an opportunity in our Health& Wellbeing Team. While based in our CBD offices this roleprovides regular support to all Synergy sites including those inregional areas and overnight travel will be required.
This role hasa focus on injury management for compensable and non-compensableconditions, in addition to supporting all functions of the Healthand Wellbeing team. It is expected to provide post-injury supportto the business across all sites and locations, as well as bestpractice advice on how Synergy may best pro-actively support theHealth and Wellbeing of its employees into the future.
Keyresponsibilities of the role include:
- Deliver business support in line with the injury management and prevention framework.
- Assist in the application and continuous improvement of Synergy’s psychosocial risk management systems by demonstrating a strong interest in and understanding of mental Health and Wellbeing and its impact on wellbeing in the workplace.
- Engage regularly with Synergy’s worker’s compensation broker and insurer.
- Provide support across business in relation to the planning and completion of activities relating to occupational health, wellbeing, and hygiene.
- Support improvement initiatives in the health, safety and Wellbeing field including contribution towards the review of policies, standards, systems, and processes.
Whatyou’ll bring:
- University Degree in Allied health (OT, Physio, EP, RC, or Psych preferred), including current professional body registration.
- Minimum 5-8 years of injury management experience.
- Experience implementing health, safety, and Wellbeing programs, running workplace training, and conducting assessments.
- Technical experience in injury prevention and management, return to work processes and employee wellbeing.
- Knowledge of current and proposed WHS legislative requirements and workers compensation and injury management systems.
