Senior Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor

SSA is seeking a Health, Safety & Environmental Advisor to join a leading contractor based in Brisbane, Queensland. 

About the Client

They are a large, family-owned Tier 2 building contractor based in Brisbane. The project you would be based on would be a commercial refurbishment in the Brisbane CBD.

About the Role

• Site-based role in Brisbane
• Very attractive Salary + Benefits: $160,000 + super for the right candidate
• Permanent position
• Become part of a larger health & Safety Team

What you need to be a successful candidate

• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HSE Role with a tier 2 building contractor 
• Must have or be close to completing the ICAM lead investigator course
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• The readiness to consistently be present on location. demonstrates a commitment and dedication to a Safety-First culture.
• Shows a strong background in health and safety on commercial building sites.
• A history of being able to persuade a range of people
• a team player who supports and cooperates with your group
• You must also meet the prerequisites above and have a minimum  Certificate IV in Workplace Health and Safety 
• It will be your responsibility to oversee and maintain the entire safety management of your projects.
