About the role

We are looking for a driven tax professional to join our Sanofi Finance team in a 6 month contract. This is a key role in managing the ANZ indirect tax function including both ensuring compliance obligations are met as well as partnering and advising the business on indirect tax matters for Australia and New Zealand.

Priorities

Prepare and manage GST and FBT compliance, lodgements, reporting and processing journals for both Australia and New Zealand

Manage non-resident withholding tax obligations including the annual reconciliation

Prepare month-end indirect tax reconciliations and reporting as needed

Partner with the business to provide indirect tax (GST & FBT) advice, support and responses to queries within the confines of the legislation

What you will bring

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong attention to detail

Proficient in MS Excel

Experience with SAP and OneSource FBT software or equivalent is an advantage

Proven experience with a similar indirect tax role in a multinational environment

Tertiary qualifications majoring in Tax/ Accounting
