What you’ll do
The Senior Insights Analyst will assist the Woolworths eCommerce team in investigating business situations, identifying options for improvement, and defining requirements to deliver business improvements. You will get to understand how the business works today and identify opportunities for improvement through analysis, insights, and development of commercial and operational solutions
- Provide decision support analysis to influence the direction of the Woolworths eCommerce team
- Develop the contents and decisions to be made off reporting and insights across the eCommerce team tracking the performance of new initiatives
- Build, visualise, and present essential insights to engage Tribe Leads (General Manager) and shape the direction of the Tribe
- Move quickly to engage others in driving data-driven decisions
- Ensure that analysis is accurate, well documented, and clearly presented and enable growth within the team
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a Senior Insights Analyst that is methodical, highly numerate, and disciplined in thinking that can manipulate complex data sets into meaningful insights while engaging stakeholders.
You would need to be proactive and able to identify gaps in data and processes and challenge the status quo to promote innovative thinking.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in advanced analytics
- Advanced skills in SQL and Excel and proficiency with Tableau or other data visualisation tool (Power BI, LookerStudio)
- Experience with GCP and BigQuery would be an advantage
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills are required
- Previous retail and operational experience or FMCG is advantageous
- Experience working with retail, eCommerce, logistics, or supply chain would be beneficial
